Richa Ghosh Domestic Career

Richa Ghosh represents Bengal in domestic cricket. At twelve, she enrolled in the cricket academy. Her remarkable skills are demonstrated by the fact that she was chosen for the Bengal Under-19 team and represented the Bengal Under-23 team at the age of 13. During the 2017–2018 season, she played her first international game for Bengal. She won the 2018 Bengal Cricketer of the Year award for her outstanding performance.

Richa Ghosh WPL Career

In the 2023 Women’s Premier League auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore purchased Richa Ghosh for ₹1.90 crore. On December 21, 2023, she made her women’s Test debut for India after being chosen for the series against Australia. She scored 52 runs in the first innings and 13 in the second.

Richa Ghosh International Career

Richa Ghosh was included in the India WT20I World Cup team for the 2020 Women’s Tri-Series after doing well in domestic cricket. In the Tri-Series final in February 2020, she made her debut for her country in a WT20I match against Australia. She was chosen for the Indian women’s T20 World Cup 2020 squad that same year, and she excelled in the match against New Zealand.

She is among the youngest athletes to play for India in a World Cup, at sixteen. She made her WODI debut for India against Australia at Mackey in September 2021. She was chosen to play for India in the Women’s T20 World Cup in 2024.
